Control4 is a sytem for integrating your devices within your home. It can manage your single remote control to operate your TV, DVD player, Apple TV and sound system; it is at the heart of your door entry system and it can even allow your lighting keypad to not only turn out the lights but also turn off the music and TVs when you leave the house.
Control4 has a range of processors of varying complexity. A single EA1 can happily manage your home cinema set up. An EA 3 can manage two streams of audio and a feew CCTV camera, the EA5 will cope with some of the largest homes and the new EA10 adds multiple hard drives and power supplies for top end systems.
